The Pacific Mesothelioma Center will host its sixth annual 5K stroll/hike fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sun., Oct. 22 at Paramount Ranch, 2903 Cornell Road, Agoura Hills.
On-site registration will open at eight:30 a.m.
The day will begin with both a 5K or 1K stroll at the ranch. A catered lunch will comply with, together with distributors, reside music and a chance drawing.
All of the cash raised will profit mesothelioma research.
The Pacific Mesothelioma Center is a division of the Pacific Heart, Lung & Blood Institute, a nonprofit medical research institute that seeks to seek out higher treatment choices for illnesses of the coronary heart, lung and blood together with mesothelioma, a cancer brought on by publicity to asbestos that disproportionately impacts veterans.
